Behind the Video: Big Boi f/ Theophilus London – ‘She Said OK’

“She Said OK” with Theophilus London will be featured on Big Boi’s sophomore album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors which is due November 13.

The director Alexi Papalexopoulos explains his concept for the role reversal in the new music video. “The song has a lot of expletive lyrics to it that portray the male in a domineering light; in this video, I thought it would be cool to juxtapose that ideology by having the female in a domineering role and our rappers, our men, in a submissive role.”

This right here, this right here, this is not your typical rap video. “It’s a real artsy video, so this ain’t the typical bikinis and girls everywhere,” said Big, while Theophilous added, “The song is very explicit, so we gon’ keep the video toned down. We gon’ be gentlemen.”
